If there is one thing the crisis we are living in has clarified without a shadow of a doubt, it is the necessity for real Education at all levels of our society. We are talking about Education-with a capital E-for leaders, for finacial experts, for the workforce, for planners, for educators, for researchers, for our youth, for our elders, for politicians, for philosophers. No area should remain untouched, as all have been tried and found wanting.
On the day that we have received our business English results, from the Cambridge Examination Board, we are delighted to say that we are doing our bit (“nuestro grano de arena”.) All our candidates come from companies or individuals who were reluctant to see the value of spending time or money on these qualifications or who had never ventured to risk them before. And the result? Practically without exception, in a short space of time, they have a certificate that guarantees what they can do with English in the International business world. And they can compete in a worldwide market at the level they have achieved. This should be a stimulus to reach the top level and to feel, after years of doubt, “Yes we can!”
Congratulations to those who faced the challenge and to those who went after their goals and to those who taught them and made it possible. And… feel encouraged those who haven’t yet taken the plunge.
